Free PPC from Tim Ferriss and The 4-Hour Work Week!

The 4-Hour WorkweekTim Ferriss, author of the NYTimes bestseller (and very enlightening) book The 4-Hour Workweek, revealed on his blog yesterday that he’s struck a deal with Google to offer $25 in free AdWords credit to readers of his book. All you need to do is login to the reader resources section on the 4HWW site (make sure you have your copy of the book handy, because much like the FTP sites of old, it asks you to look up a certain word on a certain page) and claim your free AdWords certificate.

After signing up for a CJ account last month, I’ve spent a bit of time combing through pages and pages of affiliate programs looking for the best fit to start out with - a niche that’s not too competitive but still has the potential to pay well. Now that I’ve narrowed down CJ’s thousands of affiliate programs to just a few, I’ll be sure to put these $25 in free clicks to good use. I just have to buy some domains (but certainly not .infos!) and create some landing pages. I’ll keep you all updated…and if any of you are already affiliate marketing masters, feel free to provide your input and suggestions. :)

(And as you read this, I’m probably riding a rollercoaster at Six Flags Great America. Thank you, WordPress timestamping feature!)
